George, our guide was great!! He knew all the details behind all the stars homes of Palm Springs. His knowledge of the 5 major architects of the Palm Springs area from an era gone by was exceptional. “Fantastic Celebrity Homes Tour”

Took the tour with Annette today and didn't know what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised! Informative, interesting and very entertaining. She did an outstanding job of educating us not only about the celebrity homes, but the history behind them regarding the stars. Also, while we didn't get to see Robert Stack's home, we did get to see another home - that of artist Kenny Irwin- which was outstanding! So glad we decided to take a chance and book this tour.

Visited February My husband and I would like to personally thank our tour guide Annette. She provided an exceptional tour of stars home in Palm Springs and she was very knowledgeable about the entire region. Annette even recommended that after the tour my husband and I try hiking in Indian Canyon. When we informed her that we were getting around town via taxi, she drove us to the hiking trail. Additionally, she stopped at a Jack In the Box to allow us to grab lunch to take along, provided us with water bottles for our hike and upon arriving checked in with the person at the gate to make sure we could get a taxi after we finished hiking. Her service was above and beyond. Thanks again Annette !!!

George showed up in a van to pick us up, it turned out to just be my hubby & I. I sat right up front in the passenger seat & my hubby just behind us. George took us to all of the old Hollywood stars home, with fantastic stories to tell. He had a folder with photos of all the stars back in the day. He tested our memory of a lot of the stars, etc. We even went thru the home Elvis purchased back in 1974 or so, wow, is all I can say! It was the most enjoyable 2-3 hour tour!! George, you are the best :)

This review has been long overdue. Some friends and I visited the Palm Springs area for a little winter getaway. Being big "Old Hollywood History" buffs we decided to take a tour with Five Star Adventures. We were picked up by a woman named Annette, and she gave a fabulous tour of old Palm Springs. I have never had so much fun on a tour before! Not to mention I had no idea how much history really took place in the desert! Annette showed us the home of Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Howard Hughes, Lucille Ball, the Elvis Honeymoon Home, AND we actually got to GO INSIDE the Elvis Presley Estate! Us girls had such a fabulous time, laughed our stomachs sore, and gained so much knowledge! We ended our tour at Melvyn's Restaurant, a great place to grab drinks and people watch! You should totally go on a tour with Five Star Adventures!!

Our tour guide was Annette and she was awesome! Very knowledable and detailed all through our tour of Palm Springs star's homes and surrounding areas. Our tour ended after we went up the Ariel Tram. She was so gracious when asked to take pictures of our family. Great tour and highly recommend Annette when you come to visit Palm Springs! We were visiting for ten days but it's a great way to get to know the area if you are there for a short time. This was one of the highlights of our trip hands down. Thanks Annette for showing my family a great time during their first visit there!

We thoroughly enjoyed this 2.5 hour walking tour of Las Palmas. Kirk took us on trip through the history, architecture, culture, politics and celebrity gossip of the Palm Springs area from the 1930's through to the present. He is actively involved in the the local community and shared his insights and anecdotes on one of the most interesting guided tours we've ever been on. We're glad we followed the advice to come prepared for the sun. We only had limited time on our trip from Australia, but this tour was well worth it.

We were trying to accomplish our four-day stay at an Indio CA timeshare (just down the road from Palm Springs) without a rental car but still wanted to "know" Palm Springs. This tour company allowed us to do that and we got to see not only downtown Palm Springs and all the celebrity homes, hear Rat Pack stories and get inside the house used to film the HBO Liberace biopic, but also saw the other nearby areas of Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, etc. Annette was our extremely enthusiastic and knowledgable guide; she really knew the area, history and even where the current real estate bargains were should we want to come back for ever!!! Thanks for making our quick pitstop in the desert a real delight. Highly recommend this company for any of their tours.

George,the tour guide, is very intellegent,knowledgable and entertaining. in addition, George is well connected.He introduced us to xxxxxx while the renowned artist was working on one of his current projects. Mr. xxxxxx invited us into his house where we were able to view and discuss more of his work. I would recommend this trip. You never know who you might run into.

My family and l went on this tour when we visited Palm Springs last week - what a great decision that was! Annette, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable on the life and ways of the early Indians that lived in the Indian canyons (first part of the tour - AMAZING!) in bygone days. Upon seeing how enthusiastic we were on the subject she proceeded to take us on the extended version of the canyon walk and pointed out many interesting things and facts on the area. We then proceeded to view the homes of the local celebs that had or once had homes in the area and once again, Annette was a mine of information! So many homes! and such history! Annette's whole focus is on making sure that you have a wonderful experience on her tour and you can tell that she loves what she does! I thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone planning a visit to Palm Springs, you wont be disappointed!
